Our
WOWSA began in September 2009 with a simple, powerful idea between Minto and Wellington North: create a space where professional women and women entrepreneurs could genuinely connect, support one another, and thrive.
What started as a local gathering has expanded across the entire region. Today, WOWSA is a proud initiative of Saugeen Connects—a partnership between the Townships of Hanover, Minto, Wellington North, Brockton, and South Bruce, along with Wellington County and the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation.
No matter where you are in your career or where you call home, we welcome women from all industries and backgrounds to join our growing network. Together, we’re building connections, sharing knowledge, and empowering women across our region.
